Attorney - Consumer Bankruptcy

Clark & Washington, PC is a high volume, multi state consumer bankruptcy firm.

We are currently seeking an ambitious and hardworking individual to fill a full-time Attorney position for our Memphis, TN location. Immediate hire for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients and assessing their financial situations;
• Court appearances on behalf of the clients;
• Review of cases for accuracy and legal viability;
• Resolving issues for clients originated by the U.S. Trustee;
• Research and draft pleadings;
• Communicate with courts, trustees, opposing counsel and other local law firms in order to represent the client well,
• Perform other related duties as assigned

​ Qualifications:

• Previous bankruptcy experience and/or admission to the Western District of TN ,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Comfortable in handling multiple responsibilities with multiple clients
• Deadline and detail-oriented
