The Business Consultant Sr. is responsible for translating most highly complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. These needs typically involve a significant expenditure or cost savings and impact a wide range of functions. Also, provides expertise to lower leveled consultants. This is the highest level in a career progression.

How you will make an impact:

• Leverage a strong foundation in business analysis, project management, and system configuration to drive operational efficiency and compliance.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams and third-party vendors to ensure scalable, compliant and secure systems.
• Provides expertise to lower level consultants on the analysis of business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
• System Implementation and Optimization, data-driven solutions to improve auto-adjudication, reduce manual process and enhance claims accuracy.
• Facilitate training and knowledge transfer for internal and external teams on HealthRules Payor (HRP) feature, tools and best practices.
• Partner with compliance, security and BPO teams to ensure federal and state regulations are met
• Determines specific business application software requirements to address the most highly complex and varied business needs.
• May lead teams of analysts assigned to the most complex projects, typically those of highest importance and impact to the way in which we do business.
• Analyzes and designs solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs.

Miminum Requirements:

• Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 10 years business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems; minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Consultant with project management skills; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences :

• Experience with HRP implementations within Carelon preferred.
• Expereince being a subject matter expert in Claims Payor Pricing and Security Architecture preferred.
• Deep understanding of Regulatory and Risk Compliance Medicare/Medicaid and Commercial Health configuration preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $106,128 to $159,192.
