Job Title:   Busser

Compensation:  $11.00/hour + Estimated $15.00 - $19.50/hour in Tips*
The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. About the Role:

Bussers are responsible for bussing tables in a timely and professional manner by removing all dirty dishes, utensils, and trash from the table and wiping and cleaning the table, chairs and floor areas.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Buss tables by removing all dirty dishes, utensils, and trash from the table
• Wipes and cleans the table, chairs and floor areas according to Din Tai Fung’s Bussing SOP
• Brings full bussing bins (up to 50 pounds) to the dish pit and sorts the contents according to Din Tai Fung’s Bussing Standard Operating Procedure (“SOP”)
• Pre-buss tables by clearing finished dishes
• Takes out the trash after each shift and whenever necessary during shifts
• Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
• Attends monthly staff meetings and Busser meetings

Supporting Functions:

• Maintains a cheerful, friendly and welcoming demeanor to all guests and co-workers
• Keeps all Front of House areas clean, organized and sanitized 
• Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds) 
• Assists with regular deep cleaning of the restaurant
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s”).
