Job Description

We are looking to hire a Cinematographer to join our Studio Production Team. This role reports to the Director of Production and will be responsible for planning and executing content for media platforms.

Gamble Guy Productions is a Los Angeles-based multi-media production company and collaborative creative partner. We work with ad agencies, PR firms, innovators, corporations, and public affairs agencies to create impactful content across platforms.

We are a team comprised of passionate creative professionals who believe in executing an effective and strategic approach to producing high-quality projects.

• Work across all project types that the department is responsible for, including but not limited to lifestreams, short-form video, product photography, and marketing promo pieces.
• Oversee production unit to stay on schedule, maximize efficiency and maintain a safe work environment on set.
• Oversee technical decisions such as lighting, composition, blocking, etc... to ensure successful execution of project vision and goals.
• Setup and breakdown set and equipment before and following each production.
• Plan technical details required to execute project.
• Ensure that standard operating procedures and safety protocols are adhered to.
• Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in video/film production.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills required.
• Able to work effectively, with diplomacy and sensitivity, with on-screen talent and all members of the production team.
• Great eye for composition and ability to produce high-quality images under all sorts of lighting conditions, both interior and exterior.
• Deep understanding of lighting techniques and equipment along with proficiency in various systems such as DSLR, ARRI, and RED.
• Ability to bring energy, passion and a positive attitude to everything they do.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to travel
