Since our acquisition in 2020, Yard Guard has grown exponentially from 300 to 3,000 customers. With a team of 20 employees, including technicians, office staff, and management, we've achieved a remarkable 40% revenue growth from 2023 to 2024, reaching $2.5 million. We specialize in lawn and tree care, offering services such as fertilization, weed control, disease and pest management for trees, sprinkler winterizations, and Holiday Light installations. Our services follow a subscription model, with several visits to our customers’ home per year, renewing annually. Committed to sustainability, we continually innovate with our proprietary Blended Organic program, delivering top-notch service. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable landscape, starting right in our own backyards.

Objective:

As a Door Hanger at Yard Guard, you will be an essential part of our marketing efforts, helping to share our services with the community and grow our customer base. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and looking to get outside, enjoy the day and get some exercise!

Description:

As a Door Hanger, your primary responsibility will be to distribute marketing materials and door hangers in neighborhoods to introduce prospective customers to Yard Guard's services. You will be making crucial connections with the community, creating awareness about our commitment to sustainability and exceptional lawn care.

In this role, you will:

• Distribute door hangers and marketing materials in designated neighborhoods
• Engage with residents in a friendly manner to promote awareness of our environmentally friendly offerings.

• Dependability and reliability in completing assigned tasks
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Willingness to learn more about lawn care services and company capabilities

This position will be available from middle of May to the end of June 2025. We will also have this position available again in September-mid October 2025 and for the month of November 2025. We look forward to speaking with you!

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to walk for extended periods (up to 10 miles per day)
• Must have reliable transportation and comfortable walking shoes
• Kind and friendly demeanor

Benefits

Pay: $25.00 per hour
