Job Description

My client in Durham is currently looking to recruit a permanent RVN to join their friendly, professional team on a full-time basis. However, if you are looking for a part time role please do get in touch as this would be considered also.

They are based in a brand new, purpose designed building offering all you could want in a practice! They understand the importance of a work/life wellness balance, so you will be surrounded by a team that cares for each other and believe in building a judgement free work environment.

The team consists of 5 vets, 5 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 1 ACA. 3 vets working per day, 2 consulting and 1 full surgical vet.

About the role:

They’re looking for a nurse who wants to bring fresh ideas to the practice and who is looking to be part of a growing team. They have nurses with certificates in anaesthesia, exotics, feline friendly nursing, ECC & Nutrition. They love having their nurses be able to use their skills as much as possible in the day to day running. This position is full time, and you would be working on a rota basis, working 1 in 4 - 5 Saturdays alongside another nurse but no OOH.

About You:

You will have a good experience of veterinary nursing, excellent customer service and communication skills, be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation. You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
