JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a firewall architect to serve as a senior engineer for multiple large projects that involve setting up new locations and data centers. They will listen to what the customer needs, review architectural diagrams that are created by the network/infrastructure team and then architect firewalls into those diagrams.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

7+ years of experience in network security, firewall architecture, and design. Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall technologies such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Firepower, Check Point, Fortinet, or similar. Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP). OT protocols: MODBUS, DN3P. Experience with firewall rule management and optimization. Familiarity with SD-WAN, VPNs, and cloud-based firewall solutions (e.g., Azure Firewall, AWS Security Groups). Experience architecting new infrastructure firewall environments.
