About the Role:

The Girls First Soccer Program Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive soccer program aimed at empowering young girls through sports. This position involves creating a safe and inclusive environment where participants can enhance their skills, build confidence, and foster teamwork. The manager will oversee all aspects of the program, including curriculum development, coaching staff training, and community outreach initiatives. By collaborating with schools, local organizations, and families, the manager will ensure the program meets the needs of the participants and promotes a positive experience. Ultimately, the goal is to inspire a lifelong love for soccer and physical activity among young girls in the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in coaching soccer or managing sports programs, particularly for youth.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with girls in sports or educational settings.
  • Knowledge of best practices in youth development and sports education.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a structured soccer curriculum tailored for girls of various skill levels.
  • Recruit, train, and manage coaching staff to ensure high-quality instruction and mentorship.
  • Organize and oversee practices, games, and special events to promote engagement and participation.
  • Develop partnerships with local schools and community organizations to expand program reach and resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to enhance participant experience.
