Base pay range $42.10/hr - $49.50/hr Quantam Solutions provides IT solutions and consulting for various clients. We offer competitive hourly wages, health benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. We're currently seeking a Certified Project Manager to support one of our clients in the public sector. About Our Client: Our client is committed to meeting or exceeding the needs and expectations of their internal business customers. They continually strive to improve the delivery of IT services and the internal processes that support them. Their Office of Information Technology (OIT) makes decisions based on delivering long-term value to business units and stakeholders. They have an immediate need for a talented Project Manager to join their team onsite in Frankfort, KY. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills and will be committed to delivering quality work throughout the full project life cycle. This individual should understand the broader impacts of their work and actively seek ways to improve project management efforts across the organization. Core Responsibilities: The IT Project Manager (PM) will manage assigned projects by facilitating communication between business units, technical teams, and stakeholders. Projects will follow the client’s structured project lifecycle, built around collaboration and iterative development. The PM must be professional, communicative, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include: Leading multiple teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. Creating detailed task-level project plans for cross-functional teams. Ensuring analysts gather clear, customer-approved requirements. Managing priorities and deadlines within the defined project process. Presenting project proposals, status updates, and decisions to leadership. Clearly articulating ideas and communicating across technical and non-technical audiences. Driving adoption of project roles and processes. Assessing client capabilities and communicating needs to the project team. Leading daily stand-ups and facilitating technical roadblock resolution. Supporting the management of user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Engaging with users and stakeholders to understand business drivers and ensure delivery aligns with goals. Accurately communicating risks, issues, and status updates. Managing expectations regarding project deliverables and timelines. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2–3 years of experience identifying IT needs and delivering solutions for business units. Proven experience in project management, planning, and documentation. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies. Strong decision-making, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Detail-oriented with advanced problem-solving capabilities. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Quick to learn and apply new technologies in business contexts. A collaborative team player comfortable in fast-paced environments. Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders across all organizational levels. Comfortable speaking and writing in English with professionalism and precision.
