Position Overview:

Join our team as a Material Handling Specialist where you will play a vital role in supporting our production areas by delivering essential parts and materials.

• Transport necessary components efficiently.
• Uphold cleanliness through dedicated housekeeping efforts.
• Mentor fellow employees in effective processes and compliance with procedures.
• Ensure quality output by identifying and resolving any issues while consistently meeting productivity benchmarks.
• Be vigilant about maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.
• Keen awareness of identifying quality inconsistencies.
• Effective teamwork capabilities.
• Capable of self-management, ensuring timely and meticulous task completion.
• Ability to make operational decisions to sustain production efficiencies.
• Basic literacy skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, engaging in activities that require squatting, bending, twisting, and turning as job demands.
• Strong manual and mechanical dexterity are crucial.
• Manage and move large reels of garden hose, weighing up to 1200 pounds, consistently throughout the shift.
