Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Medical Billing/Insurance Specialist & Front Desk Support team member. This dual-role position involves managing insurance claims and billing processes while also providing support at the front desk to ensure a smooth and welcoming patient experience.
As a
Billing Specialist , you will handle insurance-related inquiries, process documentation, and collaborate with clients and providers to ensure accurate billing. As
Front Desk Support , you will assist with scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and general administrative duties.
The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and is comfortable communicating over the phone and in person.

Responsibilities: Billing & Insurance - Assist clients with processing insurance claims through private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
- Verify insurance information and update patient records
- Accurately process necessary insurance forms and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians offices and hospitals to obtain billing and charge information
- Enter billing and payment information into the system without errors
- Follow up on outstanding claims or payments as needed
Front Desk Support - Check patients in and out for appointments
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
- Answer phones, assist clients with questions, take messages, and screen calls
- Collect co-pays and process payments
- Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Qualifications: - Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience in medical billing and coding required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion in a healthcare setting
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
