Hospital Medicine Medical Director opportunity in Oakdale, CA

Wonderful opportunity to lead our hospital medicine team in our Medical Center in Oakdale, CA. Work alongside our emergency medicine team, among other specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• The hospital includes 30 med/surg beds and a 12-bed ED 
• Day rounding includes Rapid Response and Code Blues.
• If intubations are required, then the ED physician will assist.
• Night coverage is provided by Telemed MD.
• Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and MRI, is available during daytime hours
• Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care

Qualifications:

• Board certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine with inpatient experience.
• Procedural experience preferred/experience working in open ICU preferred.
• Ideal medical director candidates have at least 2 years of experience, are ABIM certified, and have a leadership background.

Rewards and Benefits:

• W2 Compensation range is $360k- $400k if working 182 clinical shifts annually.

• Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
