Job Purpose:

The New Model Cost Project Lead plays a pivotal role in steering new model project plans to meet A00 targets. You will lead and manage the procurement purchasing team throughout the entire project lifecycle, including Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV). Your expertise will be crucial in designing, communicating, and implementing plans that ensure timely completion and adherence to cost and investment targets.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead full model change project management (including BEV).
  • Identify and address challenges in new model development.
  • Communicate effectively with teams to report accurate new model costs.
  • Guide systems associates supporting the department.
  • Present new model cost analyses to ADC management.
  • Establish cost-based part structures for new models and summarize cost changes.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM), the GML system, and the Global Policy manual for the GSR system.

Working Conditions:

  • International and domestic travel as needed for unit cost roll-up and evaluations.
  • Overtime may be required during weekdays and weekends to support model initiatives.
