Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant - Data & Analytics Cloud Platform Manager – AWS & Snowflake . Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data & Analytics Cloud Platform Manager to oversee and optimize a Snowflake-based data platform on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing operations, automation, support governance, SLI optimization, and change management to ensure reliability and performance. This role requires strong leadership skills to drive efficiency, automation, and operational excellence in a cloud-native data environment. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Platform Management: Oversee and optimize the AWS-based data & analytics infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Incident Management: Lead incident resolution using structured problem management practices, ensuring minimal business impact. Support Governance: Establish robust support frameworks to drive consistency in monitoring, issue resolution, and operations. SLI/SLO Management: Define, track, and optimize Service Level Indicators (SLIs) & Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for platform reliability. End-to-End Automation: Implement automation for incident response, monitoring, alerting, and self-healing systems to streamline support operations. Change Management: Manage platform updates, deployments, and data governance changes with minimal disruption. Security & Compliance: Ensure data security, access controls, and regulatory compliance across AWS and Snowflake environments. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with engineering, analytics, DevOps, and business teams to drive efficient platform operations. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Experience managing cloud-based data platforms, especially AWS & Snowflake. Strong expertise in Incident Management, Support Governance, and SLI/SLO optimization. Hands-on experience in automating data operations and support processes. Deep understanding of AWS cloud services, Snowflake architecture, and data pipeline optimizations. Solid knowledge of ITIL frameworks, DevOps, and cloud-native operations. Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and data orchestration tools. Experience with monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch, Snowflake Query Performance Dashboard, and Application Insights. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data applications. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Knowledge of machine learning integration for optimizing platform reliability. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
