Kratos is looking for a Stock Plan Administrator for their Corporate Office in San Diego, CA. This position is an on-site position with the potential for a hybrid work schedule (2-3 days in the office and the remaining time remote) after completing on-site training. GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

The Stock Plan Administrator will administer and manage all aspects of the companyis equity compensation plan including transactions, record keeping, reconciliation and reporting. The Stock Plan Administrator will work cross-functionally with Human Resources, Legal, Accounting, and Tax to ensure timely and accurate equity compensation plan administration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Administer the equity compensation plans, consisting primarily of restricted stock units, stock options, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) in the Companyis corporate offices, to ensure timely and accurate execution on a daily basis. Partner closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Legal, Tax, Accounting and Financial Reporting teams; as well as our stock transfer agent (EQ) and stock administration service provider (E*Trade/Morgan Stanley at Work). Provide a superior level of customer service to employees, executive management and others; support employee understanding of equity awards. Prepare and process new awards, vesting, exercises, expirations, terminations, tax withholdings and other plan-related actions. Oversee semi-annual ESPP offering and subsequent settlement of contributions and issuance of shares Maintain accurate and complete plan record keeping using the E*Trade Equity Edge Online (EEO) platform while ensuring ongoing quality control. Review equity grants to ensure they are granted in accordance with equity plan documents; maintain equity plan documentation, including prospectus and award agreements. Coordinate with Legal on insider trading windows and Section 16 reporting. Prepare reports and reconciliations to assist in the review of equity and transaction data for public reporting, and to support compensation reviews and grant planning. Conduct analysis and prepare reports as requested by internal teams, including Executive Management and the Board of Trustees , including assisting in annual Proxy Report preparation. Ensure SOX compliance with respect to reporting and documentation and maintain supporting documentation for internal and external auditors and respond accurately, thoroughly and timely to requests for data This role has potential to take on additional responsibilities such as administering the companyis 401k retirement plan in compliance with the IRS and DOL Regulations. Administer the companyis 401(k) retirement plan in compliance with IRS and DOL regulations. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding 401(k) enrollment, deferrals, loans, and distributions. Coordinate with third-party administrators (TPAs), recordkeepers, and fiduciary partners to ensure plan accuracy and compliance. Manage employee eligibility, enrollments, and changes in deferral elections through HRIS and provider systems. Conduct regular audits of payroll contributions and plan data to ensure accurate processing and timely remittance. Support nondiscrimination testing, annual filings (e.g., Form 5500), and required plan notices. Assist with annual plan audit preparation and coordinate with auditors as needed. Facilitate employee education sessions or communications about retirement planning and plan changes. Monitor and implement legislative or plan-related changes impacting retirement benefits. Support broad benefits team in seasons of high volume such as annual insurance open enrollment. Other job duties as assigned.

Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned duties. Maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government requirements. Communicate and interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and public, including maintaining respect for others, and following company policies. Have a willingness and ability to learn and utilize company technology for company required purposes, including, for example training, reviewing and signing policies and procedures, benefits enrollment and changes, and more.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bacheloris Degree or experience in lieu of degree 3+ years of experience in stock plan administration for a publicly traded company Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is a plus
