About the role

As a CBRE Transaction Management Director , you will provide strategic, hands-on transaction management leadership to a team of professionals who negotiate leases, renewals, dispositions of surplus space, and more. This role involves managing real estate transaction activities, including developing and implementing portfolio-wide strategies.

What you'll do

• Implement real estate plans aligned with the client's strategic goals. Assist with project initiation, scope definition, prioritization, and adherence to client commitments.
• Act as both landlord/seller and tenant/buyer agent, mediating business terms for land, office, retail, and industrial properties.
• Coordinate broker selection and resources, facilitating client review and approval.
• Prepare analyses and documents such as project initiation reports, RFPs, proposal comparisons, LOIs, and broker opinions of value.
• Negotiate sales and leases, monitor lease expirations, and handle renewals within timelines. Locate and acquire properties to meet client needs, and dispose of surplus properties accordingly.
• Analyze financial templates, including cash flow and NPV, to support client decision-making.
• Collaborate with Lease Administration, Project Management, Facility Management, and Finance teams for seamless service delivery.
• Track transaction activities, prepare forecasts, create reports, and deliver presentations.
• Ensure compliance with state real estate regulations and CBRE policies, managing risks effectively.
• Resolve landlord and tenant disputes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
