Our client, a leader in custom automated manufacturing, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of a dynamic engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Belmont, NH

Pay Range: $54,000 - $65,000 per year

What's the Job?

• Analyze specifications and set up machine tools to fabricate components for cutting-edge custom automated manufacturing equipment.
• Operate various tool room equipment including CNC lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop custom solutions for complex mechanical problems.
• Study blueprints and sketches to determine materials and machines required for fabrication.
• Verify dimensions and alignments of machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferably four to six years of related experience and/or training; however, candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and solve practical problems.
• Proficiency in interpreting various forms of instructions, including written and diagrammatic.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
